Manuscript Consulting and Editing
I am an experienced practitioner of multiple genres and mediums of writing (see list below). As a writing coach, I can gently guide you to draw out your vision, but I can also hold you accountable to the task of bringing forth your voice as only you can. As a writer myself, I have brought multiple completed manuscripts into the world for stage production, video production and/or publication. I am also well-versed in grammar, spelling, rules and style; I have been correcting college-level papers with these concerns for seventeen years. I have a keen eye for detail, and I can get your manuscript polished and ready for publication.
I can offer substantial, incisive, and thorough feedback on:
*creative non-fiction and memoir
*graphic novel scripts
*poetry
*fiction
*screenwriting/TV writing
*playwriting
My rate for manuscript consultation (developmental editing) is 1 cent a word for prose, $5 a page for poetry, and $2 a page for scripts.
For copy-editing (proofreading for stylistic consistency, grammar, mechanics, and usage) the rate is half of what's listed above.
